Arguineguín (Guanche for "quiet water") is one of the most populated towns along the south coast of Gran Canaria, Spain. A typical Canarian fishing village, it is home to many locals rather than being a tourist resort.

Visitors must anchor outside and take stern lines to the inner breakwater, or anchor in the well-protected area between the harbour and the beach. The holding here seems to be reasonable. Water, electricity. Cafés, fish restaurants. 24 h security. The harbour has a boatyard with a travel-lift. LPG and other supplies are available locally.

Note: There have been some negative reports that the autorities discourage private yachts using the harbor.
