Navigation

Simple, easy approach by day or night to town of Kralendijk from the SW. Deep close to shore, very clear water. You should simply grab a mooring in front of the the main street. The cost is US$10 per day and must be paid in advance at the marina which is located about 1 km to the N.

Entrance

Arrival

Customs and Immigration are located in the same office which is about 200 m south of the main dinghy dock. Entry is free. All people must be physically present so that Immigration can do a headcount. They consider flare guns and spear guns to be weapons and will hold them temporarily while you are in the country. Overall they are very friendly and efficient.

BTW, this is a most impressive dinghy dock with full bar and restaurant facilities. It is called Karel's Bar and is free, but you should buy a few drinks at the bar to say thanks for the right to tie up your dinghy there.
