Marina Budva (otherwise known as Dukley Marina after the property company which now owns and manages it), is situated at the town of Budva in Montenegro, 15 miles SSE of the entrance to the Gulf of Kotor. It offers around 350 berths, mostly for motorboats and superyachts in the inner harbour, but it does have around 50 spaces for visiting yachts on a jetty and two pontoons in maximum depths of 5.0 metres. Shelter is good on the pontoons in the prevailing NW winds, but anything E in the wind kicks up an uncomfortable swell. The pontoons would almost certainly become untenable in a strong E or SE wind and you should request a berth in the inner harbour in those conditions. The marina aims at a 'five-star' level of service, with yellow-shirted concierge staff on all the quays and serviced toilets and showers. In spite of that, the berthing charges are not excessive (at present!) considering the services provided.

Communication

Call Marina Budva on VHF channel 08. Alternatively, telephone or email in advance for berthing information and reservations.

Navigation

For access to Marina Budva, see Budva.

Berthing

Berthing assistance is available on request. Berths are on either side of a jetty on the NE side of the harbour or on either side of two pontoons extending N from the concrete pier connecting this jetty to the shore. The jetty and outer pontoon have depths of 3.5 – 5.0 metres and the inner pontoon has depths of 2.0 – 2.5 metres. There are two laid mooring lines for each berth.

  • Very well-run and maintained marina, and not expensive compared with some further north. --Atheneoflymington
  • Sadly no longer. Prices have increased dramatically and are highest we have paid in area and advise to check website. We visited May and July 2016. No wifi available. only public toilets nearby. Showers etc a very long way from berth. visitors are put on K, external quay very exposed to swell and surge if any wind. Staff officious but there was a very helpful concierge (so there should at the price) very convenient for stocking up with fantastic fresh food market next to maun supermarket. --Temerity of Lymington.
