More notes about the marina

The town of Trogir lies on a small island situated between the large island of Ciovo to the S and the Croatian mainland to the N. The city of Split with its international airport and good transport links is only 25 kms away. The C&N Marina Trogir, which was formerly known as Marina and Yacht Service Centre Trogir, is now managed by Camper & Nicholson. It is situated on the S side of the channel leading into Trogir, on the northern shore of the island of Ciovo and immediately west of the ACI Marina Trogir, with which it should not be confused. It currently (2015) provides 133 berths for yachts up to 60 metres in depths of up to 6.0 metres. There are plans to increase the number of berths to 256, with space for a further 120 yachts ashore. By 2018 it is envisaged that a dedicated superyacht facility will be in place with space for 30 vessels of up to 100 metres.

Marina radio contact

Call C&N Marina Trogir on VHF channel 17 prior to entry. Alternatively, telephone or e-mail to enquire about berthing or advance reservations.

Navigation/Approach

Trogir is joined to the island of Ciovo by a low road bridge, which dictates that yachts must approach the town from W. There are no dangers in the approach, although the coast to the N of the channel is shallow and a yacht should not approach too close. Depths at the entrance to the channel are around 10 metres, shoaling to 4.0 metres near the road bridge. Note that there is usually an adverse current flowing W under the bridge, which can make manoeuvring difficult. Fortunately, the current is slightly weaker inshore where the marina is sited, on the S side of the channel directly opposite the waterfront of the old town.

Berthing

Berthing assistance available. Yachts berth stern/bows-to where directed on one of three long pontoons and associated quays. Laid moorings at all berths. Depths range from 4.0 - 6.0 metres.
