Club del Mar Marina

The yacht marina, operated by the Club del Mar, is the only place to go as yachts are not allowed in the main harbor of Almeria.

There have the usual floating docks, so popular in Spain, with laid moorings.

Communication

Hail them on VHF channel 09 or call them at +34 (950) 230 780.

Navigation

Straightforward, no dangers.

Berthing

You may or may not be directed to a berth. If not, take any free berth and then walk to the clubs office.

Facilities

• An excellent restaurant

• A small chandlery

Repairs

• A Hoisting tower
• There is a Jeanneau dealer within the marina and they also do some repairs

Security

24 hr.

Location

A few minute walk to the town.

Transportation

There is an international airport with flights to destinations within the EU.

Price

The Club charges are fairly low, €7 for a 37 ft. yacht (October 2004), and there is a €5 deposit for the key to the shower/WC facilities.
