  • Exumas Docking Services Marina - 52 slips. Entrance 6' at low tide, 9' at high tide. They have gas & diesel. (242)336-2578

Anchorages

  • Stocking Island has 3 hurricane holes with fixed moorings some of which can be rented on a monthly basis
  • Stocking Harbour west of Stocking Island has excellent holding and good protection but can be crowded with as many as 500 boats a large number of which are resident throughout the season. Swimming is not recommended

  • You will find water at the dingy dock that is very good but must be containered. The marina sells water from a metered hose at $0.40 / gal
  • Sewage Pump out boat (donation expected) patrols harbour
  • Problems with gas (petrol) for outboards. Everyone was having these problems with the gas when I was there, 2008, 2009.

  • George Town is the destination for many Exuma cruisers with perhaps 300 boats resident for the winter season. There is a very active live aboard community with organized social events - volley ball, church choir, bridge etc.--Duchess 2013
