La Restinga is a locality and district belonging to the municipality of El Pinar de El Hierro, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is located at the southern tip of the Canarian island of El Hierro. In the Atlantic coast, La Restinga constitutes the southernmost settlement of all Spain and politically Europe.

The approach to La Restinga is straightforward, no dangers. But it is inside a wind acceleration zone and strong northerly winds can be experienced.
Berthing
Puerto La Restinga
There are pontoon but they are usually occupied. The other berthing option is side-to the quay, in which case it is advisable to deploy an anchor and fenders to keep the boat off the concrete. There are ladders along the quay.
The port has a fuel station and provides water and electricity. There are toilets and shower in the boatyard and also cold showers in the beach. WiFi in the port office. 24 h CATV security. Boatyard has a 60 T travel-lift and a crane, some repairs, chandler.

Anchoring is prohibited
The south coast of El Hierro, west of La Restinga, has been declared a nature reserve.
