The large Marina di Nettuno lies two miles E of the harbour of Anzio on the Tyrrhenian coast of Italy. The marina offers berths for up to 800 yachts up to 40 metres in length on 14 pontoons and quays. Currently (December 2010) the marina is being expanded to create a further 170 berths.
Communication
Contact Marina di Nettuno on VHF channel 09 prior to entry. For reservations, telephone or e-mail in advance.
A mini skyscraper behind the marina is conspicuous from 2-3 miles offshore. Closer in, the twin breakwaters of the marina will be seen. The entrance is orientated SSE. Depths in the entrance are around 4.0 metres and inside the marina range from 3.0 - 4.0 metres. Entrance and exit is difficult with strong onshore winds and dangerous in gales from S.
Berthing
Berthing assistance is available on request. Yachts in transit normally berth on the pontoon in front of the marina office or, if the marina is full, on the concrete catwalk to the W of the outer basin (where an anchor moor is necessary). The shelter is good in the inner basin but currently poor in the outer one, especially with any onshore winds. The planned developments will create more berths in the outer harbour and improve protection there through the construction of two breakwater extensions.
As of fall 2015 there were four providers of berths in Marina di Nettuno. They were: Marina di Nettuno +39 (06) 980 5404, Sailing Yacht +39 (06) 980 5372, Marina Service +39 (0)6 980 5396, and Waypoint +39 (06) 980 6673.

The marina is a short walk from the mediaeval town of Nettuno and its provisions and other shops. Numerous shops in the marina also.
