The nearest airport is Dalaman which is serviced by Turkish Airlines as well as all the charter airlines. There is a bus and taxi service to the airport.

- MV Venturer, Mike and Laura have overwintered in Marmaris since 2006. Marmaris Yacht Marina is by far the most popular of all the Marinas. It is much cheaper to stay in, leave your boat or have her on the hard. We pay Euro111 monthly for a 10.5 metre boat. The liveaboard community is alive and well and lots of social events are arranged. The marina itself offers excellent facilities, a chandler, market, restaurant and technical services. Lift out and launch services are excellent.
- Monterey spent the winter on the hard. Competent boat services. Only one restaurant at the Marina which gets a bit boring. --Monterey 14:32, 20 January 2013 (GMT)
