The entrance is straightforward and should be possible in all weather conditions. The cllffs on the approach are tall and there are numerous uncharted rocks - so the advice is to stay deep. Approach should be made by aiming at the Pta del Sarridel lighthouse on about 155degs. When close (a cable or so) turn to starboard and go around the point avoiding the isolated, lit danger of Piedras de Media Mar. The anchorage opens out after passing the breakwater. The bay is wide and fairly shallow, offering reasonable holding.
