Thessaloniki Marina
The marina has 242 positions for servicing cruise boats and yachts from 5 to 30 meters. Every position offers electricity, water and phone connection. The marina is open all year round with its friendly and experienced staff ready to assist you. It is located in the suburb of Aretsou (Kalamria) and it is the main yacht marina for Thessaloniki. It offers good shelter, with laid moorings on the quays and water and electricity at each berth. Limited hard standing is also available. Most facilities such as ATMs, shops, restaurants etc are available in the nearby suburb of Aretsou.
The marina is a good, safe place to leave a yacht while flying home from the airport at Thessaloniki. A good and safe place to stay. But the marina is open to the public, in summer a lot of young people are on the piers until midnight. Then the security will order them to leave. But no vandalism or any problem with thiefs. Some people live there on the boat and we asked them to watch our boat..--Conch 20:51, 25 September 2017 (BST)
For the latest prices see Price Listing. One small irritation is that the marina charges even part of a day as a full day - in other words, if you arrive at 2300 on Friday and leave at 0700 Saturday you are charged for two days!
- [email protected]; Tel: +30-2310-444.598; Fax: +30-2310-444.585; VHF channel 9

- Hours: Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 22:00, Sunday from 9:00 to 16:30.
Anchorages
Few sheltered anchorage possibilities. You are better off in the marina. If you have to , there is fair holding just outside the marina although you may be asked to move if the clubs are having a regatta. Can be rolly.

It is about 5 minutes walk from the bus terminus. --Alegheno116 A yachtshop Nautilus is up the marina in the mainstreet of Aretsou. One street behind is a yachtpainter with AWLGrip and International products, on the street to Kalamaria downtown (Passalidi) , a walk of a bout 15 minutes, there is a hardwarestore with ab big selection of any tool, screw or other stuff. In the marina ask for Alex, if you need any kind of support. He knows everyone and everything. --Conch 20:58, 25 September 2017 (BST) |

Numerous restaurants along the front at Aretsou.
A lot of different restaurants are up the marina along the street, but these are all for tourists. In a small street up from the mainstreet there is a nice, cheap and typical restaurant, very small but the best gyros ever. Dora and here parents do the restaurant and all the stuff is handmade also the gyros. Go at the traffic light right up the hill in the Passalidi 9. There you will find after 250 meters at the left side the "Zampetoglou",. Only greek people living there are inside. Dora speaks English very well and boat people is always welcome.
