DOB: 18 Jun 64 (so I'm doing the first edit of this page on my 44th Birthday)
I'm the "sailing master", navigator, chief bottle washer, and owner of the SV CHIARA STELLA, home port Sydney, Australia. Photos of my yacht are here and a few other places scattered around the internet. I don't have a sailing blog yet but I plan to put one up in time. Currently I'm doing / having done a few minor repairs and fit-out tasks to the vessel before myself and my two cats move aboard and set sail.
Recent Trips and Ports of Call
I hope to be fixing up the wiki pages on these as time allows.
- Sydney, home port
- Hobart via Triabunna and Eden
- Southport via Coffs Harbour
- Sunshine Coast to Auckland, New Zealand via Lord Howe Island
- Whitsundays and Airlie Beach via Southport, Keppel_Bay.
Planned future trips
- Lord Howe Island again.
- Christchurch, New Zealand.
- More extensive cruising in the Hawkesbury.
