Started sail at age 10, live aboard at age 20, full time cruising lifestyle age 44. 100 ton Master. US Sailing instructor. SCUBA instructor. Owned and ran dive/sail charter business. Cruised for 30+ yrs. Visited 48 countries, lived in 16 countries. Have owned and refit 5 cruising boats from 27 to 46 feet. Have Captained vessels to 113 Feet. (Single engine land pilots license and Sail plane)
I have particularly enjoyed teaching sailing over a 40 year period ( off and on ). Rewarding seeing my students sail in to foreign ports.
