Considerable Pacific cruising experience in the 70's and 80's. Sailed from Tasmania to New Zealand and on to Pitcairn Island. Cruised back to Australia via Tahiti and intervening islands.
Most recent experience was last winter (2010) spent cruising to and then around New Caledonia.
Our boat is a steel Van de Stadt Carribean - Honey Bee. She is kept at Cygnet in southern Tasmania.
