Communication

Hail "Port Bodrum Yalikavak " at VHF channels 72 or 16.

Navigation

Entrance is straightforward, except for a small reef just west of the entrance. Yachts should approach from the NNW to avoid the reef.

Berthing

Yachts are met by a RIB which guides them to a berth and helps them moor up.

Facilities

  • WCs, showers and laundry
  • Chandlery
  • Migros supermarket
  • Clubhouse
  • Swimming pool (extra charge)
  • Restaurants and bars

Repairs

100 ton travelift for haul-out, most sorts of repairs. Hard standing available at a price.

Security

Security at main entrance and on entrance to pontoons.

Location

17 km from the town of Bodrum

Transportation

What road transport is available?

Price

Prices at Yalikavak - as at the other marinas in the gulf of Gulluk - have rocketed in recent years with the conversion to pricing in Euros. A 13 metre yacht, for example, is charged €54 for a single night's berthing as at July 2009.

  • A nice marina, but eye-wateringly expensive. With any northerly winds a swell develops on the outer pontoons - more annoying than dangerous. (Date of visit: July 2009) --Atheneoflymington 15:34, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
