The small private marina of Circulo Nautico NIC is situated in the port of Catania on the E coast of Sicily. The marina offers 160 berths for yachts up to 15.0 metres in depths of 12.0 metres.

The Circulo Nautico NIC operates a 100 metre-long pontoon and quay at the NE end of the Porto Nuovo, the eastern, outer basin of Catania harbour. Shelter here is only moderate in strong SE winds.

There is normally someone on the pontoon to assist with mooring during the season.

The Circulo Nautico NIC is at the north end of the Porto Nuovo (new harbour), the outer, eastern basin of Catania harbour, about 800 metres from the cathedral and old town.
