Japan with a population of almost 127 milion people and an area 377,972 km² is a facinating coutry of four main islands: Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku. Despite its long coastline Japan was not a popular cruising ground due to its weather its notorious bureaucracy. But, in May of 2018 the paperwork was simplified amd crusing yachts are now welcome.
