More notes about the marina

The Marina Porto Antico is situated in the Porto Vecchio (old Harbour) of Genoa, in the second basin to starboard on entry (the first is the Marina Molo Vecchio). The marina provides a total of 280 berths on three long pontoons and on the surrounding quays and can cope with larger yachts up to 55 meters.

Call Marina Porto Antico on VHF channel 74 on entry to the basin and await instructions.

The marina is situated in the Porto Vecchio (Old Harbour) of Genoa, which is protected by a long detached breakwater, Digo Foranea and lies at the eastern end of the port. To reach the Porto Vecchio, leave the eastern end of the Digo Foranea to port and pass the Marina Fiera di Genova and Marina Abruzzi to starboard before entering the Porto Vecchio. Be alert to possible ship movements in and out of the basin, as it is used by several ferry lines. The Marina Porto Antico is in the second basin to starboard, past the moorings of the Marina Molo Vecchio
