Overview

Northern America is the northernmost subcontinent of the North America. It lies directly north of the region of Middle America, consisting of Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. The land border between the two regions coincides with the border between the United States and Mexico. Geopolitically, according to the scheme of geographic regions and subregions, Northern America consists of Bermuda, Canada, Greenland, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, and the United States.
