The Port of Portbou is located south of the bay of Portbou near Punta Gatllepis. It is located in the neck of the mountains of Puig and Puig Claper wedge between the ridge and the town of Portbou.

Communication

Before entering the marina, hail them on VHF Channel 9.

Caution: There are reefs on the starboard side as you enter the marina.

The Port of Portbou is located south of the bay of Portbou near Punta Gatllepis.

Transportation

  • The Portbou railway station is a break-of-gauge station
  • A pair of railway tunnels connect Portbou with Cerbère in France. One tunnel contains a standard gauge track, and one an Iberian gauge track
  • Local Spanish trains either terminate at Portbou or run through to Cerbère, where the Iberian gauge tracks ends, and French trains either terminate at Cerbère or continue to Portbou
