More notes about the marina

Port de Taverna is a 464-berth marina, located next to the Campoloro hamlet of the Santa-Maria-Poggio (Santa Maria Poghju) village on the so-called Costa Verde on the east of Corsica, close to the towns of Cervione and San Nicolao and in the shadow of the impressive, tree-clad mountains of the Castaniccia.

The marina is often full during high season, when it is wise to telephone ahead for a berth.

  • Depths in the entrance were little more than 2.0 metres in 2003, and it would be wise to check current depths before setting off for Campoloro --Atheneoflymington.
