The rather upmarket marina of Porto Lotti is situated on the outskirts of La Spezia on the eastern side of the gulf of La Spezia. It provides a total of over 500 berths for yachts up to 80 metres on three long pontoons and two breakwater quays, plus a host of additional services. Like Marina del Fezzano on the opposite side of the gulf, it is a convenient base for taking advantage of the transport links and facilities of La Spezia while avoiding the bustle and noise of the centre of town.

The marina lies at the eastern end of the port of La Spezia, past the commercial docks. The entrance is at the NW corner past the end of the L-shaped outer breakwater. Depths in the marina range from 3.0 to 9.0 metres.
