- We crept in here in the dark and felt our way very slowly into the planned marina area. The inner breakwaters protecting the marina area did not have lights but it was a calm clear night and possible to make out the breakwaters. Harder to spot was the unlit small fishing boat between the breakwaters. October 2009 --Wayward
- S/v Common Sense wintered in Licata October 2014 to May 2015. Price was extremely attractive, very safe and protected from swell. Fouling is an issue - marina has a diver who is kept busy at the start of the season as boats get scraped before leaving. Many haul out to do it. Perhaps 100 boats wintered there, great community and good social opportunities. Walk to town is 5 minutes. --S/v Common Sense
