- If entering Venice lagoon in bad weather, this is the first marina you get to, so you can avoid negotiating further in less than ideal conditions. It is about 2Km from the marina into the centre of Chioggia, so the marina's bikes are worth borrowing. Chioggia town is delightful and unlike Venice itself, not packed with tourists. --Zebahdy of London
- We berthed here after investigating Darsena Le Saline and found the shelter considerably better and the setting much more attractive. The staff (and local berthholders) are exceptionally friendly and some English is spoken in the office.--Athene of Lymington
