Welcome to CruisersWiki!

We all look forward to your valued contributions to the Cruising Wiki. Help it grow as a useful, free resource for all cruisers around the world.

Spend a little time reading the help pages (link in L/H menu) and the Style Guide to gain a better understanding of the Wiki formatting and how to edit articles. Please add what you can - even correcting grammar and spelling errors in articles is a great help. The more you use the Wiki the easier (and more addictive) it becomes.

Use any page's "Discussion" tab (top of page's menu) to ask any questions or make any suggestions about that particular page.

Please set your personal preferences in "My Preferences" (link at top R/H of page when logged in).

Also, please read the Cruiserswiki Copyrights notice, as well as the General Disclaimers (links at bottom of pages).

Again, welcome and have fun! Bring out that hidden "Cruising Guide writer" in you. Istioploos 14:51, 17 April 2013 (BST)

Pendik

Ben I am very glad to see that you have began to help updating the wiki. On your first effort on Pendik you made a mistake by using HTML instead of the marking language used by the wiki which is MediaWiki. As a result the page became illegible.

I restored it and then added back the new content that you had provided. I hope I did it right, but please take a look.

In general please avoid changing headers (lines that begin with "="). These are not just headers but are possible link anchors that other pages refer to.

Please do not hesitate to ask any questions and do continue.

Yalova & Varna

These edit were a great improvement over Pendik.

It would be very useful you added your name ([[User:BenPikeUK|BenPikeUK]]) and last visit date in the ====Last Visited & Details Checked==== section. This lets other cruisers see how recent the information is from an eye-witness.

Mangalia Images

I forgot to tell you one more thing about image size (px). While in most pages the infobox uses 350px in marinas it usually uses 325px, this keeps it slimmer. For images outside the infobox we specify 5 pixels less then the ones in the box. So, for port pages we use 345px and in marinas 320px.

Also do not forget to add a caption that explains what is in the picture.

Good work!
