There are no dangers in the approach from N. If approaching from S, note that there is a rocky ledge extending for 400 metres off Rt Dracevac, the short headland a mile SE of Tucepi. Once closer in, the long breakwater protecting the harbour from W and S is conspicuous and the red light structure on the end of it. The harbour is entered from SE, leaving the small basin which is used by the fishing boats to starboard and continuing into the larger inner basin.
Berthing
The inner part of Tucepi harbour has been converted into a mini ‘marina’ with space for 50 vessels up to 15 metres in depths varying from 6.0 metres at the entrance to 1.5 metres at the inner end. Shelter here is good in winds from all directions.
