Adelaide is the capital city of South Australia. Its population is slightly over one million people, which makes it by far the largest city in an otherwise sparsely populated state. Adelaide is located within day-trip distance of Australia's fine wine growing regions of McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Clare Valley.

Berthing
There is a wide choise of marinas, some in Outer Harbour and others up the river in the Inner Harbour. Also there sevral within few miles from the city.

It is located in the Northern Basin of North Haven in Alelaide's Outer Harbour. There are 103 moorings for up to 34 m boats. Fuel, water, electricity, slipway. Visitors welcomed.

Holdfast Shores Marina
Holdfast Shores Marina [[Adelaide#Holdfast Shores Marina|Holdfast Shores Marina]] 34°58.555'S, 138°30.656'E This is a small marina facility at Holdfast Shores about 3 miles SW of the city. Many restaurants and shops in the marina complex itself and the extensive seaside area of Glenelg is only a short walk away offering every possible facility. Fuel, water and toilets. Overnight security is not always good, especially on weekends. The public area of the marina has room for 4 or 5 yachts.

175 berths for up to 40 m boats. All facilities, fuel berth, boatyard with 70 ton travel lift and repair services. Security. Located in the Inner Harbour, just south of Torrens Island. 20 minutes from city.

Marina St Vincent
Close to to Kangaroo Island. 210 berths for up to 25 m boats. All facilities, fuel berth, water, electricity, pump out, toilets, showers, small chandlery shop with the basic supplies, waste oil recovery facility for engine oils and contaminated fuel disposal.
