Adelaide is the capital city of South Australia. Its population is slightly over one million people, which makes it by far the largest city in an otherwise sparsely populated state. Adelaide is located within day-trip distance of Australia's fine wine growing regions of McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Clare Valley.

This is a small marina facility at Holdfast Shores about 3 miles SW of the city. Many restaurants and shops in the marina complex itself and the extensive seaside area of Glenelg is only a short walk away offering every possible facility. Fuel, water and toilets. Overnight security is not always good, especially on weekends. The public area of the marina has room for 4 or 5 yachts.
