Iğneada is '''not''' a port of entry. If you are leaving Turkey and traveling towards Bulgaria, Romania & Ukraine you will have had to clear out of Turkey from a Port of Entry (probably [[Istanbul]]).  Once you have cleared out of Turkey the Igneada Turkish Coast Guard will not let you stay in Igneada except perhaps in bad weather for a limited time.  You can not clear out of Turkey from Igneada.

The approaches to İğneada are straightforward.

Entrance

Iğneada is not a port of entry. If you are leaving Turkey and traveling towards Bulgaria, Romania & Ukraine you will have had to clear out of Turkey from a Port of Entry (probably Istanbul). Once you have cleared out of Turkey the Igneada Turkish Coast Guard will not let you stay in Igneada except perhaps in bad weather for a limited time. You can not clear out of Turkey from Igneada.

The harbor provides excellent all weather shelter.
