Kerch (Ukrainian: Керч, Russian: Керчь, Greek: Παντικάπαιον Pantikapaion, Turkish: Kerç) is a city on the Kerch Peninsula of eastern Crimea, an important commercial port and the tourist centre of Ukraine.

Warning: You must be extremely careful transiting the narrow and shallow Kerç Channel.

Kerç Channel separates Russia and Ukraine and is the entrance to the sea of Azov. It is 24 nM long and runs north to south. It is dredged, well lit and buoyed.
Entrance
Kerch is reported as a port of entry. The authorities will come to the boat. Do not step on land before clearance.
It has been suggested to notify the authorities a day before departure.
Berthing Options
The harbor is is open the east; the best shelter is at the SW corner of the bay.
When you arrive moor to a commercial pier and after clearing with the authorities anchor at the SW corner of the bay.
