* A good place for leaving a yacht over the winter, BUT be sure to inspect the mooring posts carefully before berthing.  They are protected with strips of carpet nailed to the posts and, if the carpet has slipped exposing the nails you are in for an expensive hull repair bill (we had problems both on arrival and when leaving)--[[User:Atheneoflymington|Athene of Lymington]] 12:27, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
