Marina Vrboska is situated in the long inlet of Vrboska on the N coast of the island of Hvar in Croatia. The marina, which is open all year round, provides 125 berths for yachts of up to 20 metres in depths of up to 8.0 metres. Shelter is excellent in all conditions except strong SE gales, which create a dangerous surge in the marina. The marina can also be subject to a phenomenon called ‘plima’ in Croatian, a seiche which causes rapid fall and rise of water levels by as much as 2.0 metres. Fortunately this is a relatively rare occurrence (last event in April 2010).

The marina is located on the S side of the inlet of Vrboska, in a bight on the S side of the channel just under a mile from the entrance. There are no dangers in the approach.
Berthing
Berthing assistance available on request. Visiting yachts berth where directed on a catwalk running along the S shore or on a Y-shaped pontoon extending into the channel. Depths in the marina range from 3.0 metres on the catwalk to 8.0 metres at the end of the pontoon.
