  • Announce to Port Control on VHF 12 your pending arrival as soon as you are within VHF range.

Entrance

Salalah is a port of entry for Oman. For details see Entrance: Oman.

Guidelines to Obtain Port Clearance for Yachts in Port of Salalah - without a Local Agent

  • Proceed to the Port Control Room located on top of hill.
  • Obtain appropriate form port control duly approved by port control office & take the same form to GCT Finance for payment of dues. GCT works six days a week from 0800-1630.
  • After that, take the (GCT Finance) stamped paper together with your passport to complete customs formalities and obtain the Port Clearance.
  • Prior proceeding out of port you are required to call port control on VHF 12 and give your Port Clearance number to port control on VHF.
  • Port control will advise on the suitability of time to leave the port according to the prevailing traffic.
  • In case of doubt, call port control. +968-23219052 or VHF CH12; Port Control works round the clock 24/7.
