Anchorages

• We anchored at the Burano anchorage and reached Torcello via our Zodiac tender. See the Burano section.
• Free docks: in Torcello island, there are free docks for your tender at the back of the Torcello Basilica —literally on the church's backyard, which faces a canal. We also saw a smaller sailboat (12 meters or less) overnight at the free docks. There are no laid lines so a sailboat must drop anchor and back off into the docks.
