Welcome to CruisersWiki!

We all look forward to your valued contributions to the Cruising Wiki. Help it grow as a useful, free resource for all cruisers around the world.

Spend a little time reading the help pages (link in L/H menu) and the Style Guide to gain a better understanding of the Wiki formatting and how to edit articles. Please add what you can - even correcting grammar and spelling errors in articles is a great help. The more you use the Wiki the easier (and more addictive) it becomes.

Use any page's "Discussion" tab (top of page's menu) to ask any questions or make any suggestions about that particular page.

Please set your personal preferences in "My Preferences" (link at top R/H of page when logged in).

Also, please read the Cruiserswiki Copyrights notice, as well as the General Disclaimers (links at bottom of pages).

Again, welcome and have fun! Bring out that hidden "Cruising Guide writer" in you. Istioploos 20:26, 2 April 2012 (BST)

Spaces in Headings

Please do not insert extra spaces in headings and between heading and the following text:

Gökkovar Liman
Should had been left alone as it was

Gökkovar Liman
Note: That the
is a WC3 HTMLX standard.

Please concentrate on adding or correcting new content.

If you have any questions please contact me. --Istioploos 21:04, 29 January 2013 (GMT)

Figure Captions

I will also appreciate if you refrain from changing figure captions form their text and links to just the name of the image file, as you have done extensively in Sigacik Region. Redoing this damage, bordering to vandalism, takes extra labor. --Istioploos 21:22, 29 January 2013 (GMT)

I am looking at the Cesme page. I am totally mystified by your edits.

 1. Why have you removed the captions from several figures? Does that help your fellow cruisers?
 2. Why have you pepper the page with non braking spaces (&nbsp\;)? Are you aware that they are not needed and the make the task of future editors harder?
 3. Why have added extra spaces in a number of headings?
 4. Why have you deleted the space between the list directives and its text (i.e. chanced * list item to *list item)? How is this help your fellow editor reading the lists?

I am assuming that you do mean well and that you can make constructive contributions. Many of the factual additions that you have made in the Cesme and other pages are much appreciated. --Istioploos 20:50, 9 March 2013 (GMT)
