Uturoa, Raiatea, is the second largest town after the capital, Papeete, although it is very much smaller.

Berthing Options
There are two basic options for berthing in Uturoa:
- [[Marina Apooiti], about 5km to the west of the town.
- Berthing temporarily outside the main wharf of the town.
There are anchorage areas to the west and north of the town but be aware that there is a large no-anchor zone in the vicinity of the nearby airport.
