Marina Admiral is situated in the centre (so everything is nearby) of the popular resort of Opatija on the Istrian coast of Croatia.
Opatija itself lies on the west side of the Gulf of Kvarner, six miles W of the large port of Rijeka and 11 miles due N of the island of Cres. The marina is owned by Liburnia Riviera Hotel group and the marina development.

Call Marina Admiral on VHF channel 17 prior to entry. Alternatively, telephone or e-mail to enquire about berthing or advance reservations.
There are no dangers in the approach to Opatija. Marina Admiral lies around one mile S of the town of Opatija and the small, old harbour, where the fuel dock is located (visiting yachts will struggle to find a berth in the old harbour since is it full of local moorings). Marina Admiral is entered from NE. Depths in the entrance and in the marina are 4.0 metres. Shelter is good, although entry can be difficult in strong onshore winds.

Berthing assistance available. Yachts berth bows or stern-to on either side of the five piers or along the quays. There are laid moorings at all berths.

Small boatyard. Fixed crane (5 T). Hard standing for up to 40 yachts. Some basic engine, electrical and electronic repairs.

The marina is close to Hotel Admiral and 10 minutes from shops and other facilities in Opatija.
