Marina Betina

Marina Betina lies on the NE coast of the island of Murter in a N-facing inlet at the town of Betina, just over a mile from the mainland of Croatia. The marina, which opens all year round, offers a total of 240 berths for yachts up to 20 metres in depths of up to 8.0 metres. The marina offers excellent shelter in all wind conditions.

Communication

Call Marina Betina on VHF channel 17. Alternatively, telephone or e-mail for advance reservations.

Navigation

On closer approach, note that there is a shoal patch with a green-painted marker on it 100 metres NNW of the entrance to the marina. The marina is entered from NW, rounding a long concrete breakwater with the legend ‘Marina Betina’ painted on it. Depths in the entrance are 8.0 metres and in the marina from 3.0 to 8.0 metres.

Berthing

Berthing assistance available on request. Visiting yachts berth where directed on one of four jetties protected by breakwaters on the NE and NW sides. Depths on the jetties range from 3.0 - 8.0 metres. Laid moorings at all berths.

Repairs

Most engine, electronic and hull repairs can be undertaken in the marina’s yard. Travel lifts (260T and 20T). Crane. Hard standing for 100 yachts.

Good (24 hr CCTV).

Location

The marina is situated on the NW side of the town of Betina and a mile by road from the centre of Murter (village).

Transportation

Although technically an island, Murter is connected to the mainland by a road bridge that is raised twice a day. So it is easy to drive to Zadar airport. No need to get a ferry.

• Daily buses from Murter (village) to Šibenik, Zadar, Rijeka and Zagreb.
• Buses to local destinations.
• Airport at Zadar (41 km)
