The marina of Marina Parque das Nações in Lisbon is on the N bank of the river Tejo, at the former Expo 1998 exhibition area and close to attractions such as the 145 metre high Vasco da Gama Tower, the highest in the city; the Lisbon Casino; the Vasco da Gama shopping centre and the Lisbon Oceanarium, described as a ‘live maritime museum’. The marina provides 600 berths for yachts up to 25 metres and with a maximum draft of 2.4 metres. Superyachts of up to 230 metres can be accommodated in a separate basin, the Ponte Cais.

Navigation

See Lisbon for approach to the river entrance. The marina is situated seven miles upriver, 1.5 miles below the Vasco da Gama suspension bridge and close to the airport. Entrance is via lock gates, which are manned from 0830 to 2030. Outside these hours, yachts berth on a waiting pontoon.

Marina Parque das Nações is situated at the former Expo 1998 exhibition area on the E side of Lisbon, close to the Oriente train and bus station.
