Location

Marina Zadar (aka Marina Tankerkomerc) is situated on the E side of the large commercial harbour of Zadar on the coast of Croatia. The harbour is separated by the two-mile wide Zadar Strait from the two long islands of Ugljan and Pasman to the west. The marina offers a total of 300 berths for yachts up to 25.0 metres in depths of up to 12.0 metres.

The marina is close to shops and other facilities and just 10 minutes on foot from Zadar old town.

The entrance to the marina is to port 100 metres after passing the breakwater. Shelter inside the harbour is excellent, although berths outside the marina basin on the breakwater and T-pontoons are subject to wash from commercial traffic. nel 17 or 16 prior to entry. Alternatively, make a phone call or e-mail to inquire about berthing or advance reservations.

Berthing

Berthing assistance available.

Small to medium-sized yachts (up to 15 metres) berth bows or stern-to the pontoons in the marina basin. Larger yachts (over 15 metres) are usually berthed stern-to the breakwater, taking lines to a row of mooring buoys, or on either of the two T-pontoons E of the breakwater.

Depths in the marina are 8.0 - 12.0 metres and at the breakwater 12.0 - 15.0 metres.

Transportation

  • Local bus stop Marina (line 8, direction from the bus station) is just at the E edge of the marina (next to a bridge over the stream). In the opposite direction (towards the bus station) there is also another close stop: Maraska (buses 5,8), N of the marina. Single ride: 10 kuna.
  • A rowing boat ferry connects the W end of the breakwater with the old town at the penisular. Single ride: 5 kuna.
