Weather
We found Nopul a better anchorage than Ranon, which is 2 nm to the southwest, since it is just far enough from the volcanoes to reduce the really severe wind bullets which hit the anchorage of Raventlam and Ranon frequently.

We did not try the anchorage of Olal which looks quite tight and the pass can be rough, as we could see from ashore.
The approach to Nopul is easy and the anchorage considerably calmer that the ones further southwest.
