Panama Pre-arrival Registration
February 2009
You must still perform the normal entry procedure upon arrival in Panama (see the Panama page), however pre-registration will speed up the process.
Whilst the Panamanian authorities want those that arrive in Panamanian waters to comply with the new law, they do understand that it may not always be possible for yachts without e-mail on board to provide the information in advance. In this case, all information, as listed below, must be collated and presented on arrival.
Panama Ports of Entry: (See Panama)
- Pacific Coast
- Caribbean Coast
- Cristobal (Colon) - near Shelter Bay Marina and the Panama Canal Yacht Club
- Almirante - the Bocas del Toro area
- Isla Colon in Bocas del Toro - near Marina Careneros and Bocas Marina
- Chiriqui Grande - the Bocas del Toro eastern region
- Porvenir - the western end of the San Blas Islands
