Playa Herradura (Herradura Beach) is a coastal town on the Central Pacific Region of Costa Rica. It is located about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) north of Jacó in the province of Puntarenas. The name Herradura (horseshoe) refers to the bays horseshoe shape. The town has developed into an important tourist destinations in Costa Rica. This has been in part thanks to Los Suenos Resort and Marina.

The port and its marina cater to sports fishermen.

Los Suenos Marina
The marina has 200 wet slips and 116 dry slips. It is the ultimate full service port for many luxury sport fishing boats and luxury yachts. Its wet slips accommodate vessels from 9 to 54 m in length, while the dry storage spaces accommodate vessels under 10 feet in length. Fuel, 24 hr security. Repairs, chandlery, restaurants, car hire.
Note: This is primarily a sport fishing marina and not cruiser-friendly.
