The port is usually crowded with local boats but you may be able to find a berth on the pontoons or an unoccupied mooring.

There are a large assortment of mooring buoys located on the south/left side of the cala as you enter, and some deeper on the right. These buoys are available for long-term rent from the Harbour Master but can be very difficult to book, especially during the summer season. Limited space is available for anchoring on the north/right side of the cala in front of the small beach. There is also a bit of room on the south/left just ahead of the mooring field. The holding is good in mud and sand but be cautious as this area has been dredged and gets shallow very suddenly.

  • Porto Colom has been a favorite location for our boat for years. It provides a well protected harbour, fuel, water, excellent provisioning opportunities, good restaurants, a choice of visitors quay with good showers, or anchoring. Until 2008 the Club Nautico visitor's quay was a bargain, but sadly this is no longer the case. In addition, Porto Colom is well located on the scenic East Coast of Mallorca, offering opportunities for day excursions with a safe haven to return to in the evening --Prairie Chicken
