- We visited in April 2016. There were only 50 boats in a marina that can hold 700+, so no problem getting a space. Very helpful staff on the quay guided us in by Rib to the finger pontoon
- By June 2016 the marina had about 150 boats and all five restaurants are open. Staff are extremely helpful

Facilities
- Although there were very few occupied boats in April 2016, the restaurants were open. They serve very high quality food.
The internet access did not work. There are no bicyles for hire It is a good 10 minutes walk into town The nearest laundry is outside the marina and about 10 minutes walk The nearest "supermarket" is a bit tricky to find and is 10 minutes walk away There is no food store within the marina at present
- There is a great market in the western suburbs of the town
