Kiwix http://www.kiwix.org/wiki/Main_Page is not a nautical application per se, but it allows to show a wiki site offline (Wikivoyage in particular). It is available on a number of platforms http://www.kiwix.org/wiki/Software, including Android.
Currently there are some problems though (https://sourceforge.net/p/kiwix/bugs/milestone/None/) with capturing http://www.cruiserswiki.org into a format suitable for Kiwix, but I'm trying to find a way around them, so any help would be appreciated

Collect geodata from Cruiserswiki
Yet another bit of software I'm currently working at is a converter which is able to crawl Cruiserswiki pages and collect geolocation data from there into something like KML file. These data then could be loaded into some gadget (I use my Android tablet) for offline use "in the fields".
I have made already a similar one for parsing articles from Wikivoyage, but Cruiserswiki articles appear to be relatively less structured.
Anyway, perhaps it could present some interest for the other people, so let's see how it will go --Vadp 11:51, 5 February 2015 (GMT)
