DO NOT moor in the Finikas marina on Wednesdays during July and August. The local cafe plays LOUD music until very late disturbing all boat visitors.

The Hermoupolis harbor may be dangerous for a sailing yacht, as passenger boats create an important swell. Prefer Finikas except with south winds, unless you find a place inside the small port. The 'marina' downtown is unusable. S/Y Mimosa July 2017
