Xiamen Port of Entry

|
Xiamen, formerly known from its Hokkien pronunciation as Amoy, is a sub-provincial city in southeastern Fujian province, People's Republic of China, beside the Taiwan Strait. It is divided into six districts: Huli, Siming, Jimei, Tong'an, Haicang, and Xiang'an. Altogether, these cover an area of 1,699.39 square kilometers (656.14 sq mi) with a population of 3,531,347 as of 2010. The urbanized area of the city has spread from its original island to include parts of all six of its districts, with a total population of 1,861,289.
The city is known for its mild climate, Hokkien culture and Gulangyu Island, as well as its relatively low pollution. In 2006, Xiamen was ranked as China's 2nd-"most suitable city for living", as well as China's "most romantic leisure city" in 2011 and is regarded as China's cleanest, most beautiful, seaport city

Berthing
Upon arrival it is likely you will be asked to anchor where the commercial vessels have to anchor just by the Special Economic Zone. You will not be able to move and will have to use official pilot boats to get to/from the shore at US$150/trip. The Anchorage is exposed to waves, traffic, and wind. However, your agent may be able to negotiate a move to the Iron Rock Sailing Club or to the new Shangshan International Yacht Club .
Marinas & Yacht Clubs
Iron Rock Sailing Club
The Iron Rock Yacht Club and the marina in Wuyan Bay, are about 15 nM north of the commercial anchorage on the northeastern part of Xiamen Island. To get into the bay where the marina is situated, it is necessary to pass under a bridge, with 24 m clearance at low tide and 16-18m at high tide.
