More notes about the Marina |
Kermandie Marina is a small marina tucked into the mouth of the Kermandie River, where it enters Hospital Bay in the Huon River. The nearby Port Huon was a major export port for apples in the mid 20th century. It is the southern most marina in Australia. The marina is very new and improvements appear to be ongoing. Most berths appear full, but there does not seem to be any difficulties in obtaining the occasional casual berth.
