A view of Hienghene Bay. Les Tours de Notre Dame (The Hen) is on the left. In suitable winds (not northerly!), it is possible to anchor inshore from the Hen. Be cautious of the reef fringing the shore to the right of the picture. The Hen and the surrounding areas are interesting to explore by dinghy.
