Overview

The Gippsland Lakes are a shallow saltwater lake system fed by the Avon, Thomson, Latrobe, Mitchell, Nicholson and Tambo rivers. The region of land adjacent the lake between the towns of Loch Sport and Woodside is called Ninety Mile Beach.
